Mr. Peradze is a founder of the Soviet Microsurgery, is the author of the first dissertation in this field: "Reconstructive operations on fine vessels with microsurgical techniques".  Dissertation for a degree of Candidate of Medical sciences  Moscow , 1975. First in Europe was successfully replanted (sutured) an amputated hand with rehabilitation of its function by him. The first dissertation about children' microsurgery belongs to him.  " Reconstructive microsurgery of limbs at children and juveniles".  Dissertation for a Doctoral degree of Medical Sciences  Moscow  1987.
He has got the following honorary awards:

American Biographical Institute, USA – “International Diploma of Honour” for significant contributions to global society through Outstanding Achievements in Vascular, Plastic and Reconstructive surgery;

Forms and methods of therapy:

·         All kinds of vascular pathology (veins, arterial and lymphatic  vessels, elephantiasis);

·         Large defects of the body and limbs – functional and aesthetic reconstruction;

·         Plastic and aesthetic operations (scars, defects etc.);

·         Congenital defects and ugliness (clubfoot, clubhand, neck defect etc.)

·         Fingers and limbs replantation – reconstruction;

Area of scientific interests:

·         Research of a new plastic material in reconstructive surgery for recovery of large functional defects; Formation of tissue complexes and improvement of implantation methods;

·         Elaboration of new methods for replantation and auto transplantation; establishment of indications and contraindications of replantaton and auto transplantation on the basis of retrospective study of large clinical materials;

·         Expansion of   indications of symptom surgery therapy for cerebral paralyses; elaboration of new techniques;

·         Elaboration of principally new technique (equipment) for vessel junction.

Probable grant projects:

·         Each the fifth woman in the World suffers from varicose veins. Hundreds years' studies  have authenticated that the only radical way to recovery from the disease is surgical operation. However appropriate operation techniques do not respond on modern aesthetic requirements. We have designed instruments and techniques, which can be used for radical regulation of the pathology; besides this necessaries of sections and operation traumas are minimal. There are expected to get better aesthetic results. It is necessary to expanse work.

·         The main problems of vessel surgery are technological difficulties of vessels suturing (especially in case of fine vessels), duration of operation, danger of anastomosis thromboses. The presented instruments and techniques for junction of vessels are connected with a lot of technical problems. We have a patent for the instrument of vessels junction, which excepts complications, duration of an operation and probability of thromboses are minimal. It is necessary to produce a test set.

Currently he is working at the doctoral dissertation, which is concerning to improvement of techniques of creation and implantation of tissue complexes.

Temur Shota Mosiava. Candidate of Medical Sciences. Activities: Plastic and vessel surgery, cardio surgery, microsurgery, Transplantology. He has published 116 scientific papers, 3 inventions. He is the author of the dissertation:  "The ways for improvement of therapy of the Reinauld disease and syndrome. Tbilisi . 2001. Currently he is working at the dissertation concerning to elaboration of new techniques of surgical cure of veins pathologies.

Zurab Zelimkhan Goginashvili. Candidate of Medical Sciences. Activities: Plastic and vessel surgery, coronary surgery, microsurgery, transplantology. He has published 100 scientific papers, 3 inventions. He is the author of the dissertation: " The ways for improvement of surgical cure of diabetic foot syndrome" Tbilisi . 1998. Currently he is working at the dissertation concerning to surgical cure of limphedema (elephantiasis).

Born in Tbilisi ( Georgia ) December 30, 1938 . Has son and daughter.

Graduated from Tbilisi State Medical Institute.
1969-1971 -
a surgeon at the Rustavi Metallurgical factory;
1972-1974 -
a resident at Moscow surgery scientific center of   Soviet Union;
1980- 1987 -
a senior research worker of microsurgery department at the above mentioned center;
1987-1983 -
a main research worker
Since 1993 chief of Department of Angiology and Reconstructive Surgery of  K. Eristavi's National Center of Experimental and Clinical Surgery, Tbilisi, Georgia.
