Area of scientific interests:

• Hepatobiliary and gastroenteric surgery;

• Transplantation of liver and kidney;

• Methods of producing of stem cells;

• Currently it is being carryed out researches - Elaboration "Assistant Liver" by means of microfragments of liver and stem cells and Elaboration of alternative methods for producing of stem cells.

Probable grant projects:

• Experimental researches of a substances complex having an obstructive effect on proliferation of tumour cells (a reason of oncology complication) in a post transplantation period.(It is known that there is a risk of oncology complication in a post transplantation period. In order to overcome this problem there are carried out some experimental researches by him. In these experiments has been used a complex of substances and it has been noticed an obstruction effect on proliferation of tumour cells.)

• Use of   "Assistant Liver" for treatment of hemophillia, produced from liver micro fragments and stem cells, which works positively at a certain level on the 8^th and 9^th factors of blood coagulation  (Experimental research).

Probable investment projects:

It has been elaborated a new herbal preparation by us for treatment of  liver  and gallbladder diseases.  The preparation has appetizer, bile-expelling, diuretic, analgesic, anti-inflammatory, membrane protective and stimulant effects.  Use: jaundice, diseases of liver and gallbladder,  gastro-enteric, kidney, urinary bladder. It is necessary to study the preparation, its trial in large hospitals, registration in Pharmcommittee and its manufacture.  These might be realized with investment assistance.

Biography, education and career.

Born in Tbilisi (Georgia) March 20, 1968. 
1996 - Graduated from State Medical Academy of Tbilisi;
1996-1997 - Complete course of internship at  Institute of Clinical and Experimental Surgery in Tbilisi ;
1997-2000 -Post graduate course   at the Post  Graduate   study   of the State Medical Academy of Education for Postgraduate doctors;
2001 - Candidate of medical Sciences. The title of the dissertation was  "Comparative analysis of stimulant methods of regeneration of diffusively damaged liver;
